Brownies

Have you ever felt that someone who admits that they use a Boxed Mix to make a dessert skipped multiple steps just for an easy way out? I’m here to say - I am a proud box mix user!
I will use a boxed mix anytime it makes my life easier. Throw in some added mix ins and you have yourself a personalized creation! Fatima Rana, as I call her Ranay, collaborated with me this week to take a boxed mix and elevate it. She made an amazing cobbler, recipe up on her feed. I made cookies out of a boxed brownie mix. It’s a very easy recipe, one you can do with the kids (and you all know how much I despise baking with my kids but this one is so mess proof)
Total Time:
15 minutes
Ingredients:
1 box of any brownie mix
1/2 cup of melted butter
1 egg.
Method:
Mix all these ingredients in a bowl. 𝐃𝐨 𝐧𝐨𝐭 follow the instructions on the box. You can add in mix ins like chocolate chips, peanut butter chips etc Once the ingredients are combined. Use an ice cream spoon and scoop on to a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Make sure the cookies aren’t close to each other. They will spread. Bake for 8 mins. Remove and let them cool for a few minutes before transporting them to a wire rack. The outsides of the cookies will be crumbly and the inside soft and chewy. Recipe up in my highlights marked “brownie cookies”
What are you waiting for. Get a box of brownies and make these cookies for yourself!! Ain’t no care like self care 😍
Enjoy!
